A Church of England diocese has issued a list of social media rules for its staff and clergy. Among what have been dubbed the Twitter Commandments

III. Be a good ambassador for the Church.
IV. Don’t hide behind anonymity.
V. Be aware of public/private life boundaries.
VI. Maintain a professional distance.
VII. Stay within the law.
VIII. Respect confidentiality.
IX. Be mindful of your own security.
