Who says you have to use things for what they are intended for. For example when I have a sticky zipper I rub a candle on it, same goes for a keyed lock, if it is sticking I run a candle on the key and open it up. Having baked potatoes on the grill and wrap them in tin foil? Save the foil and rub on the grill to clean it. If you’re camping and need to start a fire and can’t find kindling use Doritos they light on fire.
