WOW! I feel safe, the
TSA failed miserably in an undercover test of their processes. Reports this morning say that inspectors were
able to sneak fake explosives and banned weapons through different checkpoints exposing
a system-wide security failure at America's airports. This does not make me feel safe, and if the
terrorists are watching, and I am sure that they are, here is a huge flaw. We already have to take off our shoes, have
our bodies radiated and x-rayed, what is next a strip search for all? According to the report I heard this morning,
that the TSA screeners failed 67 out of 70 tests or about 95% of the tests carried
out by special Department of Homeland Security.
The one case that really has me scratching my head is the an undercover
agent with a fake bomb strapped to his back set off the machines but the TSA screener
still failed to find it. Have they just
given up?

Daily Dose of BS March 10 protests
Top of mind topics include the civil rights movement, the
student movement, the anti-War movement, the women’s movement, the gay rights
movement, and the environmental movement.
These issues sound about right, don’t they? They sound like topics pulled from today’s
headlines, right. It is 2015 why are we
still seeing color, why does it matter if people want to get married? Are we sliding back to the 1960’s, it sounds
like it, and the list at the top were protests from the 1960’s. Have we become stagnant as a country? Are we fighting just to fight? In the past 50 years we have had both
political parties in charge, we have had different thoughts and practices to
address these issues, yet we are still fighting the same demons. Here is an idea, let’s all get along let’s
put our problems aside and come up with peaceful solutions.

Daily Dose of BS Oct 3 football
NFL football should be on Sundays. I don’t have time to dedicate more than one
afternoon a week for football. With the
way life is now there isn’t time, we gotta do this, that and the other
thing. We have deadlines for work and
life. With that being said, I think the
NFL should reconsider having games on other than Sundays. Since I am talking about it now I also think
that the games should be played on network tv, over the air, free network
television. Here is why, we as fans are
invested in a team, we have our routines, our superstitions etc when watching a
game, and when the delivery system changes the outcome of the game can as
well. I bet that Viking fans thought
that they were going to march into Lambeau Field last night and beat the Packers,
it could have happened if were a Sunday game but peoples mojo was off because
it was a Thursday game, after all it isn’t known as any given Thursday, its
every given Sunday. And now what am I
supposed to do Sunday afternoon, work?

Daily Dose of BS Sept 25
I am not going to lie I am a bit upset this morning. I thought that each of the touchdowns that
are scored are checked and double checked, the Packers lost on a bad call,
Rogers was sacked 8 times but they may have been the victim of a bad call. Now to what has me really upset today, I lock
my garage every night before I head in for the night, this morning when I was
letting out the dog, the garage door was open.
And I know it was closed since I locked it last night after returning
from a birthday dinner with the family, all six of us, it was amazing. My dog usually barks at things going on
outside, last night not so sure either that or I slept really well. Any way a crow bar was used to break in to
the garage, the fridge in the garage was left open, I am glad that I drank all
the beers, there were a few pops left in the garage fridge, a few things moved
around and my car was gone through, and I mean really gone through they took
everything out of the glove box, the ashtray, the arm rest storage and left it
all on the seats, I am not sure what they found if anything cause there really wasn’t
anything in there, I did get a chance to meet a nice La Crosse Police officer,
Officer Roden, she was there in minutes, we went through my garage, looked at
the evidence, a cigarette that was left on the top of the car, talked about
safety, putting lights up in and around the house. There have been more and more break-ins in La
Crosse we have had murders and drugs making headlines. What happened to the friendly small community
that I moved into 20+ years ago?

Daily Dose of BS Sept 7
Hang on, strap in and get ready for a bumpy ride. Working on the air I find myself thankful
that the politicians spend money with us, filling up and selling out our air
waves, but at the same time I am upset that the politicians are filling up our
air with their BS lies, and the negative finger pointing ads, you know the ones
I am talking about. Who are these ads
trying to sway? Most of the people I
have spoken with have already made up their mind, they have a politician in
mind, a political party they like and are ready to vote on November 6th.
60 long days till its over. With Wisconsin being one of the battle ground
states and La Crosse being close to 3 states, I am guessing we will get a few
political bigwigs stopping in our fair city.
I am all for the national exposure, and for the politicians coming here,
because it is beautiful, but there should be a rule of no spreading political
BS when you are here. The BS part is my
job.

Daily Dose of BS February 2
Do you ever have those days like in the movie Ground Hogs day? When you wake up and repeat the same boring as hell tasks day after miserable day? I know when I was younger and had other people looking over me, I had days like that, gotta do what the man says. Guess what you don’t need to be stuck in the same remedial job, the same dead end place the most boring existence, you don’t need to and I will tell you why. You and you alone are in charge of your own destiny; unless of course you are under 18 then it’s up to your parents. You can get the ball moving in the right direction though. You can not and should not blame others for your failures. Cause guess what it is your decision to do this that or the other thing, quit blaming your spouse, boss, kids, parents, your social standings etc because you can get up and move, take off and never look back or take off and help those in need with a hand up. I have had one good quote in my life and try to live by it everyday so that I do not have a ground hog day moment. As I try to live by, "Life is too short to hang out with people you don’t love, work at a job you don’t like, to eat foods you don’t want and to drink s#!ty beer."
