I found in the paper this morning a letter to the editor about reminding people to get out and vote next week. I agree with that. I do not agree with the fact that a letter writer said.... I do not know the candidate very well but he has a good family and that is the reason I am voting for this person.

Oversleeping the alarm

I am usually pretty good at getting up for my alarm. Today however, it didnt ring and I woke up with a case of the ohhhh craps..... (insert favorite swear word here) My wife and countless friends tell me that they set the alarm for an hour before they have to get up and hit snooze many times.... I don't get it.

Packers win Super Bowl

Really enjoyed the Packer win of Super Bowl 45 Sunday. The game and the commercials didn't disappoint, there were a few too many non funny commercials but all in all, not a bad batch. My favorite spots were the Doritos lick the cheese off the finger commerial and the two Pepsi Max commercials. My son liked the opening commercial that was for the NFL with Micheal Douglas voicing it. After the game I went to pick up my oldest son and saw a bunch of police cars on West Ave, we went to check it out. Here is a picture of the "get together"

Green Hornet

I went to see the movie Green Hornet at the Marcus Theater on Ward. This is the first 3d movie I have seen with the new "real 3d" 3d that is out there, the glasses are no longer blue and red but look like Roy Orbison glasses. I will tell you that they fit a whole lot better than the old throw-a-ways that used to be around (even over glasses). The movie was kind of far fetched but was full of action and was happy to see that the "real 3d" was cool to see. I googled it after the movie and it said that this movie was not shot in 3d but added in later, still cool . Want to see which movies were shot in 3d check out http://realorfake3d.com/

Throw Back Jerseys

After watching the Packer Game yesterday, I have decided that I am not a fan of the throwback jerseys. I was thinking that the NFL could have other "designer days" Like opposite jersey day, or baseball jersey day.... how about on a rain day who ever catches the most water in their mouth wins and snowy game days they could have a snowball fight and the target is the quarterback, and the extra point is the coolest snow fort.... just an idea.

I don't konw about you but every once in a while I get weird thoughts about normal things, for example this morning I was looking at the bottom of the toilet seat and thought to myself why don't they put glowing the dark bumpers on the bottom of the seat that way it can be seen in the middle of the night so that I don't have to hear about it if someone forgets to put the seat down.

Glad to live in a small town

On Tuesday evening I noticed a bike rodeo at the South Side Library, I told the kids when we are done with dinner we could go over there. They ate, we went to the rodeo, it was done and the guys were packing up their stuff. Ben the owner of Bikes Limited was one of the guys there, he brought his tools out and tuned up two bikes. This is after he was done with the rodeo and had most of his stuff put away. You would not see this in Chicago or Minneapolis.

Driving in the left hand lane

So I went to Rochester to meet my Mom for Mothers day... what is it with people driving in the left hand lane going less than speed limit. If you are in the left lane you are there to pass and to get back over to the right lane. Get your head out of your **** and pay attention to what is around you.

Cigarettes on the ground

Why is it that people usually frown on people littering but when you see someone tossing a cigarette butt on the ground it is ok. I think we should start fining these litter bugs.

Seen it all

From my blog on LaCrosse Chat.

Yesterday afternoon there was a girl about 13 that was riding her bike down my alley, pulling a kid carrier that had two kids in it, there was another little girl following behind on her bike. The older girl the one about 13 was riding no handed texting while pulling the little ones in the cart. I am not sure if she was chewing gum also....

Back on air

If you have a job you love.....do it. I am back on the air after a few months off.... It is funny how much you miss doing a job you love.
